In this respect, to me, Apple and Sony are the only PC makers that are getting it right. I feel more calm in a friendlier atmosphere at the Apple stores or at SonyStyle. More one on one interaction. Less chaotic. More fun, like an electronic toy store for adults....
Maybe all the PC makers will get a clue from seeing how neat and less chaotic an Apple store is compared to the mainstream windows computer stores...
Maybe next time, I'll just buy what I need online, and have it shipped to me. Less hassle. No long boring lines to wait in, no fussing over parking spots, or waiting until a person is done with a computer so you can look at it. The only drawback to online is that I can't touch the computer, feel it, play with it, smell it (ahhh... .nothing like the smell of Ozone and warmed up electronic components..)
Now if we can interact with computers online in a virtual reality, now that would be very interesting and entertaining... I can't wait until that day arrives in a few years. Until then, I will have to interact with computers the old fashioned way, in the store among the thick crowds..
