In a follow-up to an earlier interview, on Sunday radio personality Jeff Isaac talked about his iPad cracked glass miracle repair and invited a staff member from San Diego PC Help back on his show. He also commented on the remarkable practice of businesses that go out of their way for customers – in an age when service is declining in America.

As a fan of the vernacular “shout out” to tell people when things go right, when people do something above and beyond the call of duty, radio and TV personality Jeff “Blue Jeans Lawyer” Isaac uses his show as a vehicle for broadcasting inspiring stories of success.  On Sunday morning, Jeff again took to the airwaves to follow up on the incredible repair story of his iPad cracked glass by San Diego PC Help.  “The under-perform, over-promise kind of thing is such a great rule for business, and yet, I guess it’s so great because its such an exception. It just doesn’t happen very often,” Jeff said to his audience.

The backstory: At 7:30 on a Sunday morning, on Labor day weekend, Jeff was rushing into the station – he wasn’t late, but he had alot going on, as he was leaving the country the next morning.  Unfortunately, his iPad flew out of his arms and landed on the concrete, rendering the iPad glass splintered into many pieces.  As a big fan of iPads and iPhones, he was crushed.  “I really wanted my iPad,” Jeff said.  “I’m telling Sandy who’s in the studio with me, and she finds a phone number on the Internet.”  He reaches a technician from San Diego PC Help, and explains his predicament.  “If things didn’t go well, really well, thereafter,”  he said. “I am amazed at the service that existed from that point on.”

The store was opened, a technician came to do the repair, and finally the iPad was then delivered to the customer.  End to end it was three hours, from drop-off to delivery, so the project got completed on time. Agragati Siegel, the staff member who originally took Jeff’s call for help, explains.  “We call ourselves a conscious corporation, because the staff actually acts sort of like a family, so we help each other, and of course we try and serve the public to the highest degree we can.” That promise was tested Sunday morning.

At the end of the interview, Agragati spoke about the company philosophy: “I’ve been studying spiritual works and works of Sri Chinmoy since I was 19, and in hundreds and hundreds of books, over and over, he talks about ‘Service from the heart,’ so for us, we really take your opportunity to serve you as a chance for us to expand our own consciousness.”

Jeff agreed: “As Wayne Dyer said, when he gets up in front of an audience, its not ‘what am I gonna do’ or ‘how much money am I going to make’, its ‘how can I serve’  and I know you are exactly the person that idealistically takes that and runs with it. ”

Jeff concluded by saying, “Go to these people.  They are as good as it gets.”
