I recently (this last weekend) helped 3 people with their computers. One was training a friend how to use his new Apple Macbook. He had never used os X before. So I showed him some of the basics.
I helped a another person learn how to set up a printer in the printer settings of windows, and how to get the photos from the camera to the photo printer. I answered many common questions about windows and the many menus of the OS. This was a person who is not Computer saavy and just wants to do the basics of photos, e-mailing, printing, etc.
I took the day off yesterday to forget about all the challenges I was facing, and just blew the day relaxing. I find my frustrations and stress are relieved after playing a strategy computer game or watching a DVD movie.
I could even write about not stressing out over computer issues, and how to maintain being calm. I had to learn patience with the older computers that were slow, poky and really tests your patience. We live in the "NOW" society where we want it all instantly, and have a hard time waiting for even a minute or two... or even a few microseconds....
