Common Questions

You really drive to me?

Yes! We offer service at your home or business. We also have a convenient drop-off location and store in Miramar between the 805 and 15 freeways.

Where can I drop off my computer and meet you in person?

7905 Silverton Ave., Suite 104, San Diego, 92126
Our store is open from 8AM-6PM, seven days a week. We are also available after hours for emergencies.

Is there anything I need to prepare for desktop or laptop computer service?

If you're dropping off your laptop for service, remember both your power cable and the system discs that came with the computer if you have them. For service of a desktop PC, just bring your desktop by itself (no cables or accessories unless you want them tested) and your system discs if you have them.

Do you guarantee your service?

On-site and in-store repair services are guaranteed for 14 days. If there is a problem with the service we provided and you notify us within the stated time period, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional cost. For further details, please see the Terms of Service.

What do I need to know before I have a San Diego PC Help technician service my equipment at my home or office?

A person at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire time period that services are provided. We must receive full access to the computer(s) and/or other equipment/peripheral(s) to be serviced, your cooperation and consent to enter your business or residence, a safe working environment, working space and electrical power.

Is my data safe and confidential with you?

As a security consulting company ourselves, we practice what we preach.  We use best of breed enterprise network security products and follow best practices while working with data.  Every member of the San Diego PC Help team is under non-disclosure to ensure the confidentiality of your data. We also have unwritten non-disclosure agreements with all of our customers.  We also have multiple layers of redundant physical protection in our stores.

What forms of payment does San Diego PC Help take?

We take major credit cards, checks, and San Diego PC Help Gift Cards. For large projects we also accept wire transfers.

Do you sell computer parts?

We carry a wide assortment of products in our store and our warehouse.  We can also order almost any part that is not in our immediate inventory.

What is preventative maintenance and how does it work?

Most businesses fail to plan for a disaster and then pay the price later. Preventative maintenance ensures a smoothly functioning enterprise. Oursourcing your office IT needs to San Diego PC Help saves untold thousands in downtime and is far more cost effective than hiring an in-house technician or using an employee with limited knowledge. We make regular visits and clean your equipment, update security, check backups, troubleshoot desktop and printer issues, provide friendly assistance to staff and more.

Are you publicly traded and can I buy stock?

At this point, we are private and not publicly traded, but we very much appreciate your interest in contributing to our company.
