If you’re experiencing sluggish reaction times or if your computer is tempramental, give us a call and let us work our magic. We’ll have you back out in the sunshine in no time. If your computer is in top form, well then what are you waiting for? Slip out into the sun and check out the village area of La Jolla. Put on your walking shoes, because parking is a limited and precious commodity.
While La Jolla is the home of The University of California – San Diego, with its renowned engineering and science department, La Jolla is much more than a pretty college town. In 1928, a master potter, Cornelio Rodriguez, came to sunny La Jolla searching for light and the perfect clay. He found it, right there in a bend on La Jolla Canyon Road. With his brothers he established La Jolla Canyon Clay Products Company and manufactured all manner of handmade clay tiles for 20 years. You can no longer visit the clay works, as generations of school children did, you can see the old wood-burning kiln, which is all that is left of the original tile works. Creativity and artistry have long run hand in hand with technology, making La Jolla a wonderful place to operate a computer repair business.
You can also visit the ever popular Birch Aquarium at Scripps. The massive kelp tanks, and the myriad of Pacific marine species bring in waves of happy tourists who are then delighted with the sharks and living coral. This is a fun place to take children or that sweetheart you’ve been wooing and you can often find any one of us there on the weekends when we aren’t repairing computers from all manner of disasters from virus removal to flash drive recovery.
When the sun comes out there is no better way to enjoy it than to hike through Torrey Pines State Park or make your way upt Mount Soledad to take in a truly magnificent sunset. Summertime, with the late sunsets are our favorite, grabbing some snorkelling at La Jolla Cove in between consulting with our online clients and meeting with our instore customers. You can even learn to hang-glide, if you’re up the challenge, over at Torrey Pines Glederport. We haven’t tackled that particular adventure, just yet, preferring to glide through cyberspace for the moment.
The beautiful and captivating beaches may lure many of the sun lovers, but La Jolla is more than just sand and salt water. There is a thriving artist community and the galleries in the Village are not to be missed. You can even visit San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, also located in La Jolla Village. After staring at a computer screen or being elbow deep in computer parts while working through our various computer repair projects, it’s a treat to allow our minds a bit of creative freedom as we stroll through the art. Salons, boutiques and lots of shopping will keep the big spenders happy, while the many pocket friendly beaches, caves and wildlife venues will keep everyone in smiles.
You don’t come on vacation just to play, everyone one has gotta eat and we are no exception. As locals we can definitely recommend some fantastic places to fill your belly and satisfy your tastebuds. Elijah’s Restaurant and Deli on Villa La Jolla Drive is hands down the best way to start your day. We like to stop in for a meal to go, on our way to work. Computer repair is a hungry job. For a lovely evening out and an adventurous meal, Cafe Japengo at University Centre serves the best sushi in town. When we go out for a late night drink, and let’s face it, even computer repair guys need a little fun, we go to Pacific Beach or Del Mar. If you’re in town look us up, San Diego PC Help is always there for all of your computer repair needs. Enjoy your stay, and maybe we’ll see you around!
